The Bigger Printing Company helped Painswick Rococo Gardens hold a Family Easter Trail by producing a series of free-standing, shape-cut characters which formed part of the Easter Egg Hunt around the centre’s beautiful gardens.
Starting on the Bank-Holiday Easter weekend, and running until April 15th, the Family Easter Trail featured specially-created characters by author and illustrator Hannah Shaw, which were hidden around the site. Young explorers, armed with their adventure booklets, set out on a journey to find the woodland characters, and solve a puzzle to locate a tasty Easter surprise.
When planning this Easter event, Painswick Rococo Gardens contacted Bigger Printing for support with producing the series of illustrated characters. Each character needed to be free-standing, cut-to-shape using the bespoke illustrations, and hold up to the demands of being outdoors for several days, while also being safe for families to have photos taken next to.
After visiting the site, Bigger Printing provided a solution which met the requirements set by the centre, and also allowed the displays to be re-used for future events.
Commenting on the project, Painswick Rococo Gardens Marketing Manager Claire Barnes said “Hannah Shaw created us some charming woodland characters and the Bigger Printing Company has helped us bring them to life. We're delighted with the quality and how robust the cut outs are; it has been a real pleasure to work with them.”
