Hoarding at The Brewery Quarter

Over 87 metres of weatherproof, impactful hoarding panels as part of the re-branding project at The Brewery Quarter

As part of the £30 million regeneration scheme for the lower High Street in Cheltenham, The Bigger Printing Company has produced a fourth run of hoarding panels for The Brewery Quarter, recently re-branded from The Brewery.

As the development for the lower High Street has been broken into phases working its way towards the centre of town, the hoarding has also been produced in phases to accommodate the changes in the construction site’s size and positioning. For more information on a previous phase of hoarding produced for The Brewery Quarter, please see here. Including this run of 87 metres of hoarding panels, Bigger Printing has produced over 244 metres of hoarding panels for this regeration project, since starting in 2014.

The development of The Brewery Quarter is expected to be complete in spring 2017, and will link The Brewery Quarter to the main High Street via a retail corridor. Many of the new units are let already and will bring brands such as Loungers brand Cosy Club and SOHO Coffee co. to The Brewery Quarter, along with a £6 million, 104 room Premier Inn hotel. These businesses will join the existing businesses such as IMAX Cineworld, Fitness First and Hollywood Bowl.

As part of this phase, Bigger Printing has produced over 87 metres of hoarding panels. The hoarding panels have been printed directly to the boards and then protected with a gloss, anti-graffiti seal to help protect the panels from the weather and elements, as well as any other potential damage. By printing directly to the panels, rather than printing and mounting, production time is reduced and therefore more accommodating for tight deadlines. Each panel stands at over 1.9 metres high, and vary in width depending on the content of the panel. As a long-term external display solution, the panels are naturally weather proof, and the UVC printing process ensures the vibrancy of the design will last.

Commenting on the project, Marketing Executive for The Brewery Quarter, Molly Lavery, said: “Co-ordinating the re-brand of The Brewery to The Brewery Quarter has been a complex project and we were working to a very tight deadline. Bigger Printing delivered once again with a high-quality and prompt service and we have are very pleased with the outcome.”
