The Bigger Printing Company has helped Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park open its latest addition to the farm park – a brand new Animal Barn - by producing a series of wall displays, signage, and a super-sized stage backdrop.
First opened in 1971 by Joe Henson, Cotswold Farm Park is home to perhaps the best-known farmer in the UK – Adam Henson. Adam Henson is known to millions of TV viewers as he presents his own section on BBC's Countryfile each Sunday evening.
Since opening in 1971, Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park has gone from strength to strength, and in 2014, the park was awarded Farm Attraction of the Year by the National Farm Attractions Network. The park is home to range of cattle, goats, pigs, sheep, as well horses and ponies. The park also offers daily feeding sessions, talks and demonstrations, as well as offering a wide range of other attractions including the newly opened Maize Maze.
In preparation for the opening of the new Animal Barn on July 22nd 2017, Bigger Printing visited the farm to conduct a site survey, and then proceeded to produce a super-sized PVC banner stage backdrop – measuring over 9.8 metres wide! Bigger Printing also produced two eye-catching infographic wall displays, each measuring over 4.3 metres wide by over 1.5 metres high. These infographic displays were printed directly to composite aluminium and finished with a high-end matt seal for extra protection.
Located on an external wall of the barn, Bigger Printing produced an A1 ‘Rules Board’ informing visitors of the ‘dos and do-nots’ when inside the barn, as well as a large sign identifying the barn, measuring 2.5 metres wide.
Finally, Bigger Printing produced a large information board above the sinks near the entrance to the barn, providing instructions on the most effective way for visitors to wash their hands before and after petting the animals inside the barn. This display was also produced on composite aluminium and finished in a high-end matt seal to provide protection from the inevitable splashes the display will receive due to its close proximity to the sinks.
Below is a quick video showing the finished displays up in situ at the barn.
Commenting on the project, Marketing Assistant at Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park, Laura Hockley said “We were working to a really tight timescale but the Bigger Printing team were amazing! They offer a great range of options, were so supportive and have a great eye for the details. We’re chuffed with the outcome and will definitely be using them in the future.”
