The morning of Sunday 23rd June 2013 saw the Cheltenham Circular Challenge commence from the Cheltenham Racecourse, with adult, youth, child, and team entries all competing to raise money for charity.
The Cheltenham Circular Challenge is a multi-terrain route encircling Cheltenham and the surrounding Cotswold countryside. It’s a total of 26 miles (in 4 stages), from the Racecourse to Barlands (A40), to Brizen (Up Hatherley), to Pavilion Restaurant (B4063), and back to the Racecourse – covering fields, lanes, gates, streams, bridges and more!
The Cheltenham Circular Challenge is now managed by CCP, one of Gloucestershire's leading social care charities, providing a range of services to prevent homelessness, strengthen families and uphold people's rights. To date, the Cheltenham Circular Challenge has raised over £450,000, and it has become a very popular event for serious and fun runners since 1996.
Bigger Printing sponsored the event and supplied large indoor PVC banners, outdoor mesh banners (up to 1.5m by 4m), feather flags (4m tall) as well as Correx signage for Stages and Route. The Bigger Printing team was at the Racecourse on the Saturday to install the banners and flags, as well as being present for the event on the Sunday.
Speaking at the event, Director of Bigger Printing, Sebastian Stanley commented “We are really proud to be here sponsoring such a wonderful event in Gloucestershire. The Cheltenham Circular Challenge has some tough stages, and to see so many people taking part in order to help raise money for charity is inspiring. The work that CCP do is very important, and it’s really inspiring to see so many pushing themselves so hard for the cause.”
