The Bigger Printing Company has been enjoying bringing to life the new brand identity for SOHO Coffee Co., created by Bristol design agency Saint Nicks. Bigger Printing has produced a wide variety of robust, vibrant and impactful POS graphics for all 30 UK SOHO Coffee Co. sites, including the brand new stores in Leicester, Cardiff (St. David’s) and Cheltenham (The Regent Arcade).
Bigger Printing produces new POS graphics twice annually for SOHO Coffee Co, however, this Spring POS project was extra special as it contained a full brand-update, including a new SOHO Coffee Co. logo and new branding elements such as the SOHO Bear.
The POS graphics vary greatly in size from small shelf labels which provide customers with information on sandwiches, salads etc. to large external A-boards. All of the POS items have been re-designed with the new branding in mind, including the A1 and A2 magnetic menus which list the coffee, tea, jackets potato and breakfast options. Double sided A4 cardboard struts have been added to the POS range, and new ‘shelf wobblers’ have been created using clear PVC and white ink to help the wobblers stand out from the fridges and really catch-the-eye. As well as the A-boards, large PVC banners and vinyls were also created and installed at various sites, adding an external advertising presence to some sites.
In addition to the new POS graphics, SOHO required some of the new branding elements to be included at the HQ in Cheltenham. A new external acrylic wall display containing the new logo was produced and installed, along with two large internal wallpaper wall displays. The wallpaper displays used a brick-effect to mirror the exposed brick-effect used in a lot of the SOHO Coffee stores, and new branding elements and designs were placed on top of the brick effect.
