Wild Futures at the House of Commons with their banners from The Bigger Printing Company
Liz Tyson, PR and Communications Manager for Cornwall’s Wild Futures, speaks fondly when talking about The Bigger Printing Company. “The work they have done for us is amazing. It’s really transformed our branding.”
Wild Futures got in touch with Bigger Printing in response to a business card that the company’s director, Sebastian Stanley, left on a visit to its monkey sanctuary last year. Liz comments: “We’d wanted to update our displays for a while and then by chance Seb came by the monkey sanctuary, saying he wanted to help. We didn’t think twice about taking him up on the offer.”
Since getting Bigger Printing on board, Wild Futures has tasked the company with numerous large format displays, including portable banners that were taken to the House of Commons for a presentation on the plight of primates in December last year. Bigger Printing has also produced many of the signs that are used on site at Wild Futures and those which promote its monkey adoption scheme.
Liz says: “Prior to Bigger Printing most of our displays were hand painted and incredibly labour-intensive, so they didn’t have quite the professional touch that we needed. Our new materials have really helped us to bring everything in line and improve the site.”
Liz has also been impressed by the standard of service from Bigger Printing throughout, including the free of charge replacement of signs that were damaged in transit and also replacements due to internal design errors. Liz: “A lot of the materials were part of goodwill work anyway, so this extra assistance was really appreciated. You could say that we’re fans!”
But it doesn’t end there. Wild Futures has many exciting plans for future materials, such as interactive displays that allow children to look through lenses, which show the different spectrums that monkeys see in. Liz also hopes to create better signage for the garden at Wild Futures.
Sebastian Stanley says: “We’ve enjoyed working with Wild futures enormously. It’s fabulous to be involved in such a worthwhile project and see the difference our displays have made. I intend to continue taking my children there for years to come, so they can appreciate how important this work is.”
