Bigger Printing help re-launch Gloucestershire University’s Graduate Challenge - 11th April 2011

Bigger Printing’s in-house designer, David Bowen, played a key role in re-launching the University of Gloucestershire’s Graduate Challenge Scheme last week.

The scheme, which is designed to match graduates with potential employers, is now in its 2nd year and still going strong. David Bowen was matched with Bigger Printing through Graduate Challenge, in the latter part of 2010, when he completed a 3 month placement; joining the company as a full-time designer shortly after.

To help launch the new scheme, David attended a presentation at the university on Wednesday 6th April, where he spoke to students about his experiences at Bigger Printing and how he had benefited from the last scheme. He says: “Joining Graduate Challenge is one of the best decisions I’ve made, so I felt that it was important to share that with other students and let them know how they too can benefit. I just hope that everyone else has an experience as good as mine.”

David and other students were later presented with a certificate to mark their completion of the programme. Official certificates in Post-graduate Personal and Professional Development will be presented to those graduates who completed both learning elements at the University of Gloucestershire’s Graduation Ceremony at Cheltenham Racecourse in November.
